Process
CT-45 non-stick blue Dry Film Lubricant coating is applied as a spray process. Different surface preparatory methods appropriate for the substrates will be used prior to the coating process. Coating thickness is varied to suit the application. Typical coating thickness varies from 0.6 - 1.0 mil (0.0006 inch - 0.001 inch or 15 - 25 microns). Coating can be applied on most steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metallic substrates.
Advantages
Low coefficient of friction, Good release characteristics, Corrosion Resistant, Low cure temperature, Abrasion resistant, Taber wear test - approximately 24 milligrams per 1000 cycles, Does not affect magnetic particle inspection for cracks.
